Back to Coffee – Early Passes

I am back on coffee, or rather mochas.  Fortunately, there is a 24 hour Starbucks on the way to work that is helping (?) me out.

Early passes this morning were great.  We have settled on the correct tracking object for RAX.  Ben and Scott have made huge advances in our ground station capabilities along with Rona and Sara helping out with station operations.

Right now, we are working on figuring out RAX’s “personality”, how RAX talks and what is said.  Telemetry is  looking good.

Thanks to Colin, Mike, and all the other global ground stations that are helping us out.  Your packets/beacons are extremely helpful, as well as your advice and experience.  73s!

26 + 27 = 53 beacons received this morning! We also uplinked to the satellite. We pinged it to let it know we are listening so need to reset. We also queried the repository of beacons on board and will start to request the history of beacons stored on board.
